Institute of Architecture and Space’s Post

We are proud to share the release of 'Fractures and Infinite Space: The Baroque Revisited', a new publication is based on an artistic research project carried out by researchers and practitioners across architecture and design: The publication brings together contributions from Peter Thule Kristensen, Professor at the Det Kongelige Akademi and Flemming Tvede Hansen, Maria Sparre-Petersen, Suzi Pain, Anne Romme, Jacob Sebastian Bang, Natalie Koerner, Anders Sune Berg (Photography) and Rasmus Koch (Graphic Design). The publication follows the exhibition Forkrøpninger og Grænseløse Rum – Barokken genbesøgt, shown at Officinet and Børglum Kloster in 2024. The starting point for the project was the monograph Lauritz de Thurah – Architecture and World Views in Eighteenth- Century Denmark (Copenhagen 2023), edited by Peter Thule Kristensen, who has also curated two exhibitions.
