It’s concise. It’s clear. And it opens the door for more meaningful discussions with your patients about treatment and care. The Total Symptom Score is a summary of your patient's performance and can be an effective means of ADHD psychoeducation. See how one tool helps you explain results in a way patients (and parents) actually understand: https://bit.ly/45Mp3O2 Thank you Corina Weir (PhD, CPsychol)

Lets normalize late diagnosis and share how BNBA helps adults reclaim focus, clarity, and self-compassion. For years, ADHD was seen as a childhood condition. Now, research and lived experience are telling a different story: ✅ Symptoms often go unnoticed until adulthood. ✅ Life changes (new job, parenthood) can make challenges impossible to ignore. ✅ A diagnosis can be a relief, not a label. At BNBA, most of our ADHD testing clients are adults over 18. If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe this explains everything,” you’re not alone. And we can help you find clarity.

Implementation science could help close gaps in care for young children with ADHD by expanding access to behavioral therapies before medication is considered. Stronger implementation efforts would give evidence-based treatments a better chance of reaching children and families who need them most, reducing the risk that medication becomes the default path.
Many young ADHD patients are medicated as soon as they’re diagnosed, possibly because the behavioral therapy they need isn’t available, a Stanford Medicine-led study found. https://stan.md/3Vj9aK2

When a child is diagnosed with ADHD, it can feel overwhelming for parents who want to do what’s best right away. Research shows many young children are prescribed medication soon after diagnosis, but starting with behavioral therapy can often make a big difference. Behavioral therapy helps children build skills to manage attention and impulses while also giving parents strategies to support them at home and school. Early intervention can reduce family stress and strengthen communication. This doesn’t mean medication isn’t effective or necessary; many children benefit from it, especially when symptoms are severe. But when therapy comes first, families often gain tools that support long-term growth, whether or not medication becomes part of the plan later. #ADHD #BehavioralTherapty #PediatricTherapy

AuDHD is a fairly new concept. For many decades ADHD and Autism have been considered mutually exclusive. Clinicians began recognising that autism and ADHD can co-occur as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV in 1994, DSM-5 in 2013) evolved. Having both conditions creates a unique experience, it is not just a combination of the two conditions.Research shows 30–80% overlap. AuDHD as a term comes from the community and is not a medical term.
