Bagggel Newsletter July
Dear Bagggel Community,
Can you believe we're already halfway through the year? While time has flown by, what strikes me most is how we've achieved double the progress we anticipated when we started this journey together. There's something undeniably powerful about what happens when ambitious women connect authentically—it becomes a force multiplier that accelerates not just individual growth, but collective momentum.
Our Bagggel 101 session perfectly captured this dynamic. Vijaya Deepti P H and Manisha Singh went live on LinkedIn for an honest, unscripted conversation about what BAGGGEL actually is, and the response was remarkable.
You could sense the energy shifting in real time—not through polished presentations, but through genuine dialogue about why we built this space and who finds success here.
Seeing community members engage so authentically, asking substantive questions and sharing genuine curiosities, reinforced exactly why we focus on depth over visibility. his is what happens when you put brilliant women in a room with someone who truly gets the nuanced dance of power and authenticity.
When women support women with genuine intention, the impact extends far beyond what you'd expect. Moving into the second half of the year, I'm carrying this momentum forward. Our upcoming events will build on these foundations, because sustainable professional growth comes through consistent, meaningful connection—not isolated interactions.
Here's to the power of connection and the momentum we're building, one authentic relationship at a time.
With warmth and purpose,
Supria

Women@Work Webinar Series | Episode 3 : Ignite and Innovate
Our latest Women@Work webinar brought together our community for an evening that perfectly captured why we believe in the power of purpose-driven leadership. Sowmya Sundararagavan, Senior Product Leader at Freshworks and valued BAGGGEL member, took us behind the scenes of her journey, sharing the real story of how she transformed passion into products that create genuine impact.
The conversation was refreshingly honest, and the engagement was incredible. These are the moments that remind me why we partner with Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) for this series—it's about equipping women the confidence and community they need to thrive. Whether you're building your first product, leading through transformation, or aligning work with your values, this conversation offered takeaways that go beyond the technical. It was about the human side of innovation and the courage to lead authentically.
For those who missed the live session, the full conversation is available to watch. This is the kind of content that stays with you long after the webinar ends.
Member Spotlight
Swetha Chakravarthy: From Breaking Through Resistance to Building Unshakable Trust
Swetha Chakravarthy’s journey is one of quiet determination, fearless pivots, and a deep belief that success is never a solo climb. She walked away from the family legacy of law to carve her own path in engineering, learning early on that textbooks couldn’t teach her what the real world could.
She’s faced boardrooms where her leadership was recognized, led teams that didn’t always welcome her at first, and built trust not with words but with results. From helping Intel launch its first edge platform to drawing strength from her daughter on hard days, Shweta’s story is proof that progress comes in small, committed steps — and that true leadership is about leaving the door open for others to follow. At BAGGGEL, we believe in stories like Swetha’s— stories that remind us why we do this work, why we build these networks, and why it matters to stand together.
Bindya Narayan: From Quiet Engineer to Industry Influencer
Bindya Narayan’s journey spans continents, cutting-edge technologies, and leadership at the highest levels — but at its heart, it’s a story of speaking up, staying adaptable, and lifting others as she rises.
She knows firsthand the challenge of walking into a room where you’re the only woman — and she’s turned those moments into fuel for growth, innovation, and creating space for others to thrive. At BAGGGEL, we’re proud to walk alongside members like Bindya — women who don’t just navigate the complexity of their industries, but actively shape them for the better. Her journey reminds us that leadership isn’t just about technical achievements or climbing the ladder; it’s about showing up with empathy, building strong networks, and making sure the next generation has a clearer, more inclusive path.
