Connecting the dots between creativity and innovation by the hand of Ferran Adrià
Worldwide famous cook, Ferran Adrià, visited our HP Barcelona site some days ago, to learn more about our latest innovations in 3D printing and HP Latex technology. We met Ferran by the hand of ESADE, with who we are participating in their third edition of the Creativity for Business Innovation Challenge (C4Bi). This competition, organized by ESADE and the BulliFoundation, gathers students from the same ESADE and 4 other universities in Europe and US to apply the creative audit methodology created by the chef Ferran Adria to specific challenges in a company.
This year, HP is the Company that will propose the challenge that the students will have to solve using that methodology. This creative audit is used by Ferran Adrià and his team to evaluate innovation processes in his restaurant elBulli. We are really glad to participate in this year’s challenge as this is totally aligned with our strategy both on innovation and in attracting the best young talent.
The challenge we are proposing is related to the transformation of the Décor market with HP Latex technology. Chef Ferran Adrià was curious to see and touch this innovative technology and the huge amount of applications that it offers. I’m pretty sure he discovered many possibilities with both HP 3D printing and HP Latex. But for us it was an amazing experience to listen to him and his fabulous creative capacity to see new applications where we don’t.
We are really looking forward to this collaboration with ESADE and the BulliLab in this year’s C4Bi. It is the best combination: Creativity, young talent, the best business school and HP’s technology! What can go wrong?
