Here at Liverpool Convention Bureau we’re dedicated to ensuring our carbon footprint is low and we’re doing Business Tourism as sustainably as possible. With that being said, we’ve created an informative sustainability toolkit for our partners, ensuring you are on your way to creating an eco-conscious experience for your clients.
We work closely with organisations such as 2030hub who offer advice and guidance to businesses on a range of things relating to sustainability within your business, whether that be delegate accommodation, transport or a B&B.
This month we’re celebrating our 'Gold' and 'Silver' Green Tourism partners who go above and beyond to promote greener ways for businesses, conferences and events. Not only do these businesses look after people, places and the planet but they can assure you that you can host a conference or event with the planet in mind.

On the road with Liverpool Convention Bureau
If you know Liverpool Convention Bureau by now, and we hope you do, then you’ll know we love nothing more than getting out to trade shows and sales missions to shout about all things Liverpool City Region and our #Incredible conferences and events offer here.
The passion, the people, the place, we love to represent it all – especially with our Liverpool City Region partners. So far, this year we have represented the Liverpool City Region in Edinburgh, London, Singapore, Leeds, and Frankfurt, with a lot more locations to come.
We have a Team Liverpool approach to our trade shows, especially when doing shows such as The Meetings Show. This year we had ACC Liverpool , Sodexo Live! , Knowsley Hall , RCP Spaces at The Spine , Liverpool Cathedral , Liverpool Football Club , Hilton Liverpool City Centre , Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse , National Museums Liverpool , and Liverpool Tour Experiences | DMC join us.
We will be announcing to our LCB partners how you can join our trade shows for next year very soon, so keep an eye on your emails for this exciting opportunity to be part of #TeamLiverpool for 2025.
We’ve had a makeover!
Sometimes you need a refresh, and we decided we’d refresh ourselves this year with a new look and feel to our famous LCB ‘pink’ brand.
The team sat down with Senior Graphic Designer, Ian Slater to discuss thoughts, feelings and ideas around our new look and feel for 2024. Involving a lot of round table conversations around not losing our famous pink brand.
We refreshed our brand by thinking, what matters to us, and from this came four key pillars…People, Place, Passion and Planet. From the four key pillars, they make up our events industry and when put together, incredible things happen.
It was like a eureka moment - and there was our new look…beautifully designed by our Senior designer. Of course, knowing us, you will see the newly refreshed brand almost everywhere we will be, in our Event Planners Guide, down to our trade show stand.
