#Issue 4 | When Vision Becomes an Escape from Action

#Issue 4 | When Vision Becomes an Escape from Action

We’ve all been taught to dream big.

To visualize. To write goals on whiteboards. To build a powerful vision board.

But here’s the hard truth no one tells you:

Sometimes, the vision becomes a hiding place.

You keep redefining your dream because you’re too afraid to act on the version in front of you.

You keep waiting for clarity because deep down you’re scared of failing publicly.

You keep making the vision more perfect, while the action remains untouched.

And the deeper risk?

Your soul begins to confuse talking about purpose with actually living it.

Purpose is not a neatly worded statement on your wall.

It’s the quiet courage to move even when your plan isn’t perfect. Even when you’re unsure of the next step. Even when your heart beats faster with fear.

  • Am I using vision as a way to delay action?

  • Do I feel emotionally “safe” when I plan, but anxious when I execute?

  • What’s one imperfect step I can take today, trusting that it’s part of His divine plan?

May almighty help us to be the people of movement, not just intention.

People of flow, not just philosophy.

And people who turn vision into service, not just slides.

See you next Tuesday, god willing. Until then… act gently, trust deeply, move purposefully.

Great insight! A powerful reminder that a strong vision is important, but it should push us to act not just dream.
