Issue #2 | Trust is a System. Not a Feeling.
(I begin with intention and leave the rest to the One who writes every step.)
It’s not that you don’t trust your team.
It’s that you’re still getting follow-up calls at night. You’re still re-checking that client email before sleep. You’re still fixing things you already “delegated.”
So here’s the quiet truth: Trust is not a feeling. It’s a system.
In most businesses, trust breaks quietly.
Not through betrayal, but through gaps. Gaps in process. Gaps in clarity. Gaps in expectations.
It’s why two people can use the same software - One will thrive in calm, the other will drown in chaos.
The difference? They didn’t build systems that protect trust.
Ask yourself:
If not, no matter how loyal they are - You’ll always be tired. You’ll always be anxious. You’ll always be the backup plan.
Even our relationship with Almighty is built on systematic trust. He asks us to do our part, then leave the rest to Him. That’s not blind faith. That’s structured surrender.
So why do we expect our teams to magically "earn our trust" ...when we don’t build the systems that allow it?
Stop chasing better people. Start building better trust systems. Trust is not given. It’s designed.
See you next Tuesday.
Until then, remember: Every small fix in your system might be a big fix in someone’s home. Trust starts on a dashboard… and ends at the dinner table.
