My Yoga Journey

Hello everyone, I am Gokul I am going to discuss about my Yoga journey. when I was knowing yoga in eight standards and my parents encouraged to me to join in the yoga class on the first day. when I go to yoga class. I enjoyed myself with all my friends and learned some yoga. My master’s name is Rajkumar. He was a good teacher for me and ten-year experience in the yoga field. He trained many students for state and national-level yoga competitions. He won a good yoga master award on Sun Tv. He was conducting yoga competitions around Tamil Nadu every year for students’ development.

In my second class, he taught to me about Surya namaskar. This is one of the foundations and fundamental in yoga. This is having twelve step and names are prana asana, Hastauttan asana, Hastapad asana, Ashwa Sanchalan asana, Dand asana, Ashtanga Namaskara, Bhujangasana, Adho Mukha svanasana, Ashwa Sanchalan asana, Hastapad asana, Hastauttan asana, Tadasana. These are all very helpful to increase Cardiovascular health, Stimulate the nervous system, helping in stretching, Strengthen the immune system, flexing muscles, and improve overall health.

My keep on practices one month in yoga. I can increase my stability and it overall improves my body and focusing ability. After I continued for six months, that period I learned so many Asanas for abs, chest, arm, leg, and shoulders.  These all increase good body structure. I started attending many competitions in yoga. My first yoga competition was held in the Ramanathapuram district. There I got the first prize from the Tamil Nadu sports minister in the Champion-to-Champion category. It was very much encouraged and motivated towards in yoga, both in physical and mental health.
