OneDrive web, the Online File Explorer

Start working as you are in the cloud

The way to access files and objects in Microsoft 365 is best performed using the OneDrive web page. I knoiw you are saying that you are used to work with the File Explorer in Windows.

Start to work as you are in the cloud, you will not reach the other objects than just files with the Explorer. I know you can use the OneNote and Lists app to get to those sources of information. With the vast amount of sources are you able to reach all of them from one place.

You reach the OneDrive web from the browser of your choice (preferably chromiumbased Edge). I suggest you set this as your start page when you open the browser.

The new url for Microsoft 365 start is like you see below where you can click on the OneDrive button on the left or the OneDrive tile in the waffle menu.

Do you access other sources from the web?

I know you may argue with me when I urge you to ditch the File Explorer, all of the sources of information in Microsoft 365 is on the web. You access other sources private on the web.

You use the web browser to watch movies on streaming platforms, you seacrh for skiboots on the webshop of your choice, you book hotel and plain tickets on the web. You are used to work on the web for your personal well-being so why don´t you on the job?
