Seed funding what’s that?

About a year ago, Alexis, Hassan and Nicolas convinced their Friends, Family and some Fools (FFF) to help them gather enough fund to bootstrap this tremendous idea and build the product.

During the spring 2018, they successfully released a closed beta. That’s when I contacted Nicolas and entered the beta amongst another few hundred lucky testers. The product directly worked for me. As simple as that!

Summer 2018, I was having a coffee, a very good one by the way, with Nicolas. He let me know that he was raising seed money to bring the product to the market and proposed me to be in this round. I said yes!

Seed funding stage corresponds when a startup wants to build or validate its product/idea.

If FFF money is interesting, and easier, at a very early stage, one wants to access also smart money and therefore pitch business angels. Ideally, entrepreneurs want to convince angel investors, who have themselves set up ventures and gained extensive experience in building companies, to join.

Today, Accountable has an ambitious vision, an amazing team, a great product but it’s only Day One. Vision, team and product need feedback to grow, get stronger, better.
