- 3. Setting The fairgrounds near the local hospital where the Miller “family” must take Kenny after he is bitten by a poisonous spider. Casey runs off with Scottie P., and David and Rose go looking for her. Scottie P. is trying to get Casey to be inappropriate and Casey refuses. From here everyone finds out about how much everyone is getting from this deal.

- 5. David Clark (Major) He works for a drug dealer in a big business. He’s like Lucentio in which he wants to almost win over Rose in the end. He is sent out to Mexico by his boss to retrieve a huge amount of weed to bring back to the U.S. since the original guys were arrested in the process. Dave creates a “fake family” to do all of this so it isn’t easy to catch on that a family would be smuggling drugs from Mexico.
- 6. Rose O’Reily (Major) David’s “fake wife” who is like Bianca in which they are both kind and sweet and all the guys are after her. She is asked to tag along and offered money to go. At first they don’t seem to actually like each other, but throughout the movie you can tell they start to grow on each other.
- 7. Kenny Rossmore (Major) Kenny lives in Dave’s apartment complex. He relates to Petruchio in a way because even though Casey isn’t really his girlfriend/wife he still in a way somewhat “tames” her. He is asked to be Dave’s “fake son” in the whole plan and willingly agrees with no cost because he just wanted the adventure. Kenny is quiet at first but eventually opens up.
- 8. Casey Mathis (Major) Casey is asked to be Dave’s “daughter”. Casey relates to Katherine. She has the “I don’t care” attitude and seems to have that independent side to her and doesn’t want to go by the rules. She basically lives on the streets and “borrows” things from stores and writes it down in a little book so when she gets the money she pays it back.
- 9. Brad Gurdlinger (Minor) Brad plays the role in David’s boss. He’s closest in relation to Baptista. Brad is higher up in the movie as far as class as is Baptista. He sends Dave out to Mexico for his job to smuggle marijuana back to the U.S for their business.
- 10. Act III Scene II *Dave and Rose are in the RV at the fair* Rose: What should we have for dinner? David: Whatever. It doesn’t matter to me. Rose: God forbid you give me an answer. David: Well, we are at a fair. Let’s just grab some food and walk around. Kenny: Hey have you guys seen Casey?
- 11. Act III Scene II Rose: I just figured she was with you. Kenny: Well I haven’t seen her in awhile now. Rose: Well let’s go look for her. * Casey and Scottie P. walking around* Scottie: You know you’re pretty cool. Casey: Wow guys never tell me that. They usually just think I’m weird.
- 12. Act III Scene III Scottie: I don’t think that. I pine, I perish, for you. Hah or whatever they say. Casey: Thanks Scottie. *Dave, Kenny and Rose enter* Dave: Casey where have you been? Rose: Who’s this guy? Casey: Mom, Dad, this is Scottie. Scottie: What’s crackin dudes?
- 13. Act III Scene III Dave: (Jokingly) Oh how’d you find this prize? Casey: Dad Scottie is actually really cool. Scottie: Yeah, sir. I got some tattoos and everything. (Shows tattoo on chest) Pretty cool, huh? Dave: *Reads* No Ragrets? Scottie: Nope. Dave: Really? Not even a single letter?
- 14. Act III Scene II Scottie: Hah nope. Dave: Nice. Rose: Oh stop it Dave, Scottie would you like to come and have dinner? Casey: Uh, no Mom that’s fine. Scottie: Sure dude. I’m practically starved. I could eat my own finger, hah. Casey: We’ll just eat something here in the fair. Scottie, you should buy us some candy apples. Scottie: Dude those apples are rotten, there’s small choice in rotten apple’s.
