Why do we need Security? • Network security is any action an organization takes to prevent malicious use or accidental damage to the network's private data, its users, or their devices. • The goal of network security is to keep the network running and safe for all legitimate users and Blocking unauthorized use of the network.

IAM Service • AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a web service that helps you securely control access to AWS resources • Single Sign-In identity that has complete access to all AWS services and resources in the account. This identity is called the AWS account root user • Group: Number of users • Roles: Number of policies

CloudTrail • With CloudTrail, you can log, continuously monitor, and retain account activity related to actions across your AWS infrastructure. • CloudTrail provides event history of your AWS account activity, including actions taken through the AWS Management Console, AWS SDKs, command line tools, and other AWS services. • This event history simplifies security analysis, resource change tracking, and troubleshooting.

Account activity occurs CloudTrail captures and records the activity as a CloudTrail Event You can view and downloaded your activity in the CloudTrail Event History You can set up CloudTrail and define an Amazon S3 bucket for storage A log of CloudTrail events is delivered to S3 bucket and optionally delivered to CloudWatch logs and CloudWatch Events
