This research paper evaluates the effectiveness of split-plot design (SPD) over randomized complete block design (RCBD) using a 21 x 52 split-plot experiment to assess the threshing efficiency of an improved sorghum thresher. The analysis reveals that SPD shows superior performance compared to RCBD, particularly in handling experimental variance and efficiency. Key factors analyzed include feed rates, moisture content, and speed, with statistical comparisons made between the two designs.
