Development of the poster
- 2. To make my poster, I decided to use photography, along with Photoshop and Pixlr for editing. The top picture is of Alexandra looking around during filming sessions. I screenshotted it during editing. The bottom left picture is of Pergola Hill, taken during the recce. For the bottom right picture, I did a photoshoot of me dressed as Kharon holding the mask. This is one of the pictures that best suited the future poster layout.
- 3. Different versions of the back As background I used the picture of Pergola Hill, as it suits the theme. Using Pixlr, I tried out different filters. The top two have distorted background and light rays. The bottom three have light sparkles and reminisce the galaxy or fireflies. MetatronInvisible PurgatoryAlfirk Dabih
- 4. For these versions, I tried adding filters that included colours. The bottom three have geometrical patterns and pink with blue, while the top two have shadows. I think I will go with the coloured filters because it fits better with the supernatural genre. Cursed TouchSave Resurrection Dire
- 5. Cutting Irene and Kharon The final part before starting editing together the poster was to cut the characters. As I will overlay them onto the Pergola Hill picture, I had to cut their background. To cut the background, I used Photoshop. I put the pictures in different layers and used the magnetic lasso to select the character’s silhouette. After, I reversed the lasso and deleted the back. I did the same for Irene’s picture. Now I will be able to blend and add filters on the two characters easier.
