- 2. EBook's are going to a huge thing when 2022 AD comes around. Looking back 8-10 years from now we were nowhere close to where we are now with Electronic Books. Every year we see an advance in technology and teaching is taking off, electronically as I am speaking of. We can now access our books through tablets, phones, etc.
- 3. Instead of having an actual handheld book we can carry one tablet and use that for all of our books. In 8 years I think all books will be able to be accessed online or through any source of handheld tablet, phone, etc. I know all classes do not have this yet but 8 years from now I believe that will be different.
- 4. VIRTUAL TEACHING We have online classes, EBooks and a ton of different learning abilities today than we had 8 years ago. I think within the next 8 years virtual teaching will take off and be a new way of teaching. As I have found out through the years, anything to make the human life easier will be done and will succeed even if it’s only seconds faster. Virtual teaching will make its way into schools because we will always needs schools and a new way of learning is always a plus.
- 5. Moore’s further explored diffusion of innovations and high-tech marketing in Crossing the Chasm. There are gaps between innovators and the early adopters, the early adopters and the early majority, and the early majority and the early majority.
- 6. We have seen many different cell phones over the years and it will only get better. Thinking back 8 years ago to the phone you had will give you a laugh. Cell Phones are a way of living now days, not just for personal use but for business as well. The future will bring us ways to do anything from our phones. Later days will bring us to control computers, TVs, Cars, and just about anything you can think of. Cell Phones are huge for media purposes and the media never stops are slows down. Therefore there is now reason why technology will slow down in this department.
- 7. Pg. 31 Dependency theory proposes an integral relationship among audiences, media and the larger social system. This theory predicts that you depend on media information to meet certain needs and achieve certain goals, like uses-and-gratifications theory
- 8. SMART TV/ INTERACTIVE TELEVISIONThe future of television is almost scary, with all the smart TV’s, 3D TV’s, Curved TV’s and etc. who knows what is in store for us. I believe in 2022 AD your television will be able to do about anything. Smart TV’s have already introduced a ton of new settings and are pretty advanced. I think 8 years from now we will be able control the Television by voice command, watch, listen and search anything we would like.
- 9. Another big thing the television will bring is interactive television. We will be able to interactive and the television will be able to pick up on what we want. I know Television can get pretty pricey but if we can think back when the first flat screen came out those were highly over priced. 8 years from now a smart television will be in everyone household because it will more than likely be a necessity.
