- 1. “ Inculcate a sense of respect and appreciation for everyone's work ” Our story of Change from the Anand Nagar Municipal School, Dahisar, Mumbai. Class III A Mentor Teacher : Mrs. Shikha Singh Step 1: FEEL 1.We all like to live, study , play in a clean place. But do we clean everything ourselves? 2.We all clean our homes but where does that all rubbish go....? 3.Outside our homes..... who collects it from there....?... people who collect it from all such places and take it away far off to dumping grounds. 4.They help us keep our homes and places clean 5.Have we ever realised how important they are in our lives. 6.Have we ever felt thankful to them? 7.Have we ever told them so? Step 2: IMAGINE 1.We feel so happy when someone appreciates us. 2.We should spread this happiness to these people also. 3.But how? Step 3: DO 1.We decided to make thank-you cards for them. 2.We made Beautiful Thank-you cards. 3.We wrote message conveying that they are doing great job and we respect them for this. 4.We personally went around school and our houses and gave these cards to them. 5.We also said Thank-you Uncle. We gave one student - one card - one person so that we could spread the happiness to as many people as possible. 6.They were happy to receive these cards from us and the fact that we appreciate their work. 7.And we were also happy that we have realised importance of the work no matter how it looks..
