‘ Anganwadi support programme ’ Our story of Change from Satya Bharti School Saanch, District Kaithal, Haryana. Students – All students of class 5th  Mentor Teacher : Mr. Surender Kumar
Satya Bharti School Saanch is a primary school of Bharti Foundation. It was established in 2008. Geographical Location : –Village Saanch in a progressive village of our area. It is located at a distance of 32 kms from District Headquarter Kaithal, Haryana • Cultural Background : –Major population belongs to General, OBC & SC Category - Village have a strong political & economic status in District – Agriculture is the main source of income. Introduction
Step 1: FEEL When most of us got enrolled in our school, we had some kind of unknown fear of the school within us. The reason being that long before we were of the age to become eligible to join the school, we were sent to ‘Anganwadi Kendra’ for our basic tutoring. We felt that the education that we received over there was so much insufficient and insignificant that it equals to nothing when we compare it with the way we learn things in our school. We felt a hankering to do something to make the learning interesting for the students in Anganwadi Kendra.
Step 2: IMAGINE The big question in front of us was that how are we going to do that ? We had a meeting with our teacher to help us in this regard. We decided to extend possible help by equipping them with:- 1. TLMs 2. Workbooks  3. Learning Steps 4. Teaching them poems,  prayers and games.
We decided our strategy Decided to share our acquired skills and knowledge with them
Step 3: DO We used available scrap material to prepare the TLMs for teaching them.
We used our school TLMs also to teach them.
We erased the pencil work of our old workbooks to re-use them. We decided to re use our old books for them because we belongs to underprivileged families and it was not possible for us to spend money. So we decided to re use our books.
They re-used our workbooks and learning steps.
We taught them prayers
We taught them poems

We taught them games   Their benefits for sound mind and healthy body.
We narrated stories and recited poems using puppets. We done a change successfully
How we were ‘Changed’ We though we were going to ‘change’ others lives but we were transformed by this experience. We learnt the value of sharing , re use of used material for save the Earth.  And we leant that a small effort done by heart can bring a big change, resources and money not matter, it require commitment only .
