Walk the World is a new website that allows users to submit walking routes that connect their local area to at least 15 other countries. To submit a walk, users need:
1) Evidence of links to 15+ other countries along the route
2) A planned route between the points of interest and a map
3) An optional theme to tie the stories together
4) A commentary describing each point of interest and directions between them.
The document then discusses how a school group could plan a walk around their area to document connections and submit it to the website. Various student roles are outlined to divide the work of researching links, route planning, photography, risk assessment, and more.
