This document explores gravitational instability in a ferromagnetic fluid saturated porous medium using the Maxwell-Cattaneo heat conduction law. The study applies the modified Darcy-Brinkman model to analyze Rayleigh-Bénard convection, revealing that ferroconvection is less stable under the non-classical heat flux compared to classical scenarios. Key findings highlight how various parameters like the Catteneo number influence convection onset and cell aspect ratios, emphasizing the significant implications for applications in heat transfer technology.
