- 2. I chose this field of Analytics because of a major concern or concept known as Digital Footprinting. Through his internship I want to develop a project which deals with resource management in the city. What I would like to utilize this opportunity is , to track the needs of the residents of the city in relation to the resources. Like since internet is used for even a shopping today, and search engines are the dictionaries, then based on what the people are searching for, we can understand the need of the hour for them. I have taken city because it will be a good scale of experimentation with this field. Considering if people are searching for a specific medicine or studying about a disease, we can analyze the concern and the pre-requisites on the authorities side can be traced. Since data analytics can do this job, I want to explore it for algorithmic research as well so that technology can be used for the betterment of the people and we can make smarter selects before the situation calls for it.
- 3. In the next 5 years: I feel everything will become smart. It will be a world of wonders. And the decisions will depend entirely on Big data analytics. Since we would be able to know the things before their effect, and hence the preventive measures in case of diseases and calamities, whereas the needed measures in terms of resources can be easily made. The data would not just be data but the identity of a person. Data analytics will not remain a field but a virtual atmosphere.
