  • 19. Business ProcessesExecutive Search, Methodology & ProcessSDW predominantly deploys a proactive approach to sourcing executives. Successful professionals are likely to be the most ‘protected’ and valued in their current organisations, they are less likely to be circulating their CVs to agencies or forwarding CVs in response to adverts. Accordingly, each assignment is tailored to the specific requirements of the client and the search process is geared towards identifying and attracting specific individuals in the market place who can demonstrate the relevant skill sets, personal attributes and ‘cultural’ fit. The following is a brief outline of the principal stages applicable in undertaking the search:Personal recommendations and referrals through our extensive network.

  • 21. Research and target organisations that are characterised by or promote the requisite culture & attributes.
  • 22. Detailed screening, interviews and validation. Utilising personal profiling (including 360 degree feedback) and competency based questions. Identifying verifiable and tangible levels of attainment, traits and attributes.
  • 23. Our methodology is such that we prefer not to disclose the identity of the client when approaching candidates. This is so that attention is focused on the role and the opportunity rather than the ‘headline’ impact of the client company.
  • 24. Ensure that the candidate’s interest is engaged and establish their motives for progressing an alternative career opportunity. Our thorough preparation has ensured that we have a 96% conversion ration from offer to acceptance.
  • 25. We maintain regular contact with the candidate and the client, undertaking briefing and debriefing sessions before and after interviews.

Candidates are expertly managed throughout the process through to managing the offer.Fee structuresOur fee structures are very unique & competitive within the market place, and reflect our commitment to delivering results to our clients. The fee is calculated at ??% of the successful candidate’s gross equivalent annualised remuneration (non-retained), this is reduced if a variable commitment is made at the commencement of the search. We believe that this transparent & straight forward approach engenders trust between SDW and its clients and will enable us to deliver a better quality and more tangible service that will set us apart from other executive search organisations. This has forged the foundations for long and positive relationships with our clients.
