This document discusses two prototypes for redesigning the school-to-work transition process. Prototype 1 involves holding "job coffee houses" on campus where students can have more relaxed coffee interviews with potential employers in order to feel more comfortable. It raises questions about the selection process and logistics of implementing the coffee house idea. Prototype 2 suggests using LinkedIn profiles to streamline the pre-selection and interview process and have interviews take place in coffee shops near companies to make students feel more at ease. It also questions aspects of implementing the LinkedIn-based prototype.
