This document proposes an intervention to address acute malnutrition in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. It involves establishing community education centers to teach sustainable agricultural techniques to women, using indigenous leafy greens like kale. Women will be trained in extracting nutrients from leaves to produce supplements to treat malnutrition. The plan aims to empower women through education and skills training, make communities self-sufficient through modern agriculture, and improve health and productivity long-term with a relatively small budget. It partners with local organizations and pursues long-term evaluation and expansion of the model.
