This thesis examines efficient methods for successfully implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The author conducted interviews with RPA experts and reviewed previous RPA implementation research. The results are presented as a dynamic roadmap for RPA implementation that describes risk factors to avoid failure. Successful RPA implementation requires understanding RPA and building an appropriate RPA team. Change management from the start and continuous process assessment are important. Evaluating RPA projects depends on objectives and automated process types. Failure can occur if the wrong processes are chosen, assessment is incorrect, or the RPA team lacks knowledge.
