In the software engineering field, there are many software development methodologies. In recent
times, Agile methodologies have become popular and are being widely used by companies such as
IBM. Agile's origins began in the 90s thanks to the likes of Rational Unified Process (1994) and
Scrum (1995), but when 17 software developers met in Utah in February 2001 and created the Agile
Manifesto, they became collectively referred to as "Agile Methodologies". This manifesto was
created to answer the failures of traditional Software Development Lifecycle Models (such as the

Introduction
Ever since the Agile Manifesto came into existence in 2001, it has led many agile software
development processes to spurt up. Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), Extreme
Programming (XP), Feature Driven Development (FDD), SCRUM and Crystal Methodologies are
some of the most famous agile software development methodology famous today (Vlaanderen et. al,
20011), (Dingsøyr et. al, 2012). In the recent research done by (Dingsøyr et. al, 2012), it's been
found that XP and scrum are the two most common agile methodologies used currently. In their
empirical research (Dingsøyr et. al, 2012) also found that most of the existing studies on agile
methodology focus on XP and there are very limited studies done on SCRUM. The purpose of this
literature review research is to analyze the existing research available on SCRUM methodology.
This literature review will provide a broad overview on various information researchers are
providing on agile software development methodology, keeping Scrum agile methodology in the
focal point. In addition, this literature review will also address the advantages and disadvantages of

versus content. By using the art–based activities, the educator encourages interaction with active
learning, participation, uses the senses and skills used for learning, uses the learners ' life
experiences, and at the end reflects on the whole process. The author, Dr. Jose Roberto Guevara
discusses in detail these key elements to this learning methodology which seems to establish that art
based activities are viable for adult students and community education, making learning more
relevant and meaningful. There were several strengths in this article. It was very evident with the
amount of international research that was prepared. First, the author believes and cites from several

it was pertinent to use what little time we had wisely and I felt it necessary to adopt the role of a
team leader, akin to that theorised by the Hersey–Blanchard Situational Leadership® model. Here, I

accompanied by communication from individuals in the team, would lead to the "sale" of the task

Knowledge Management is critical to the World Bank's future. Knowledge Management is a subset
of IT and that the needs for KM were easily satisfied with technology based solution. A first
shortcoming lies with senior leadership, many at the top of the bank equated KM early on with
various IT based initiatives such as the global distance learning network or the development
gateway. As a result, leadership never fully appreciated the peculiar characteristics of knowledge at
the bank or its deeply social aspects.

investigated by business, administration and steadily by the IT groups. The objective of knowledge
management is to capture, store, keep up and convey valuable learning in a significant structure to
any individual who needs it wherever and whenever inside an association. Fundamentally,
