- 2. As I learned in the course, there are many communication technologies with different origins and histories. Some has died out as they are replaced as well. As the we continue to live the technology that we use will change more and become more advance in the year of 2023 A.D.
- 3. Things will change and adapt if there are new benefits that coms with it.
- 4. The theory is grounded in classical sociological literature positing that media and their audiences should be studied in the context of larger social systems.
- 5. Social cognitive theory, used in psychology, education, and communication, posits that portions of an individual's knowledge acquisition can be directly related to observing others within the context of social interactions, experiences, and outside media influences.
- 6. Critical mass is a sufficient number of adopters of an innovation in a social system so that the rate of adoption becomes self-sustaining and creates further growth.
- 7. Is an approach to understanding why and how people actively seek out specific media to satisfy specific needs.
- 8. Critical Mass Theory applies to computes because its something that we need and want and will need to have in the future to communicate and do business. Also we stress new and better services.
- 10. Uses and Gratifications Theory applies to cell phones because we change and control the way we communicate. Every month there is a new phone out that has all the new features on it.
- 12. Moore’s Innovation Adoption Rate Theory applies to cars in the future because every car that has came out and will come out, they have new features and things that will benefit you as the car and rider.
