- 2. India Against Corruption (IAC) What is IAC? It ’s a movement to make a strong anti corruption law and to establish an independent anti-corruption agency in center and states. Why IAC? Because the existing anti-corruption agencies are either advisory or under the control of government. Who is Leading IAC? Many Prominent people from various walks of life, like Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Baba Ramdev, Sri Sir Ravi Sankar, Anna Hazare and many many more..
- 3. India Against Corruption contd.. Where is IAC happening? It ’s happening in every city in India and many countries outside India. What is the next major milestone? The next major event is on 5 th April, when Anna Hazare ji is doing indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. How can we help IAC? IAC doesn ’t need you to go to Jail or face bullets. It needs few hours of your time to understand the root cause of the movement and to explain others about it. Join the movement actively and spread the word – awareness and education is the need of the hour.
- 4. Existing Anti Corruption Agencies and loopholes CVC It ’s an advisory body. Departmental Vigilance Officers of vigilance wing of a department are from the same department. CBI It has power but is under govt control. Govt tells CBI which case to investigate.
