How do I stay safe??To stay safe, you should never give out your phone number, address and your real name.Always keep where you go to school, your email address and your parents credit card details to yourself. It is possible for someone to hurt you if you give these out!You can give out only information that cannot be used to identify you.

Five items that should be included on my top 10 list: Think carefully before revealing any personal information about you or your family such as age, marital status, or financial information.Never respond to messages or bulletin board items that are suggestive, obscene, abusive, belligerent, threatening, or make you feel uncomfortable.Never give out your email address or identifying informationRemember that people online may not be who they seem. Because you can't see or even hear the person it is easy for someone to misrepresent him or herself.Instruct your child not to click on any links that are contained in e-mail from persons they don't know.
