This document provides guidelines for proper etiquette on the internet, commonly referred to as "netiquette". It recommends giving credit when using others' written work or images, avoiding taking quotes out of context, keeping conversations confidential, using appropriate language, not overusing emojis or acronyms, being patient with others, keeping emotions in check, and not typing in all capital letters. The guidelines are meant to promote productive online communication and prevent issues like plagiarism, gossiping, swearing, annoying behaviors, aggression, and intimidation.
