This paper proposes a hybrid predictive technique for lossless image compression by combining Differential Pulse Code Modulation (DPCM) and Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT). The analysis demonstrates that the DPCM-IWT-Huffman sequence achieves significant compression ratios, reducing image sizes by up to 48% for various test images. The proposed method is particularly valuable in fields requiring high-quality images, such as healthcare and military applications.
