Tabitha, an admin at Orange University, created the Orange City Hub to share Moodle courses, which led to the involvement of several local educational institutions. This collaboration expanded further with the registration of the Blue City Hub, allowing more courses to be shared and specialist content offered between the universities. Ultimately, the communities searched for a global platform and discovered Mooch, facilitating worldwide course sharing and the growth of communities of practice among Moodle users.

People on these sites could publish courses on the Orange City Hub for others to enrol in or download. They could also search for, enrol or download other courses published on the Orange City Hub. They soon found they have a lot in common - sharing and joint projects blossomed!
