INTRODUCTION
 Physical disabilities causes the depression, loss of confidence and demotivation
 Increases the dependency on family members
 Mobility-assistive device like wheelchairs are very useful for disabled people
 Traditional wheelchairs have some limitations
 Incorporate intelligence to traditional wheelchair
 Proposing system use the idea of voice activated wheelchair and home automation
SPEECH PROCESSING PART
 Android part extract the commands from the input voice
 Voice input first captured by the android app
 Input voice is converted into corresponding text
 Compare with previously trained words to generate control characters
 Control the movement of wheelchair and the accessibility to each
home appliance
 Transmitted to the controller part through HC-05 bluetooth module

• Raspberry pi based voice controlled wheelchair and home automation using IoT
• Alternative solution for the traditional wheelchair
• Increases the quality of life of paralyzed patients
• Voice command given to the android app
• Controls the movement of wheelchair, on-off status of home appliances
