Initial ideas - task 3
- 2. For my first idea I want to remake the idea of the logo but keeping with the same idea as the original I would use a bold type face as it shows its a strong drink but then use a variety of different colours, I would want to incorporate silver as it refers to the colour of iron which I would more than likely use for the colour of the text but then have different colours around the text but needs be a colour that keeps in tone with the current one set such as dark blues, reds but I want it to be completely different to the prior ‘IRN-BRU’ logo.
- 3. For a poster design I could have the use of a man picking up extremely heavy weights and show him doing it without him struggling and have a tag line of ‘Only Irn-Bru’ as if the weight lifter was saying it.
- 4. For a can design I would use the logo that is made and have the same silver that the text is and have that used for the rest of the can that doesn’t have any other design to it and then make it look like a weight that body builders use, for the sake to show its what they drink.
- 5. For a web page banner I could use a variation of the colours I have used for the logo and have it centred to the banner and have a slogan from my design to the right in smaller letters running along the bottom and to the right a picture that refers to the drink as being used for sports men of some description.
- 6. For a billboard that would be seen on street walls I would have the a picture of another billboard on it with a weightlifter holding it up and have a picture of the can which would be in the middle and then the logo and a catch phrase underneath that and have these in the bottom right.
