A resource is any physical material constituting part of Earth
that people need and value.
According to Arizona Department of Education (2006),
“A part of the environment that people value and use to meet a need for
fuel, food, industrial product or something else of value.”
According to Andy Day (2015),
“a resource is something which human society attaches value to due to
its usefulness.”

delta formed by the ganges and
Brahmaputra rivers.
• It has 59%Agricultural land, which is the
biggest asset of Bangladesh
• According to BBS 2015 Total crops demand
is 35 million metric ton and total food crops
production is 38 million metric ton with a
surplus of 3 million metric ton.
• Besides 62% of the total manpower is
engaged in agriculture. Shrimp, Hilsha,
Other sea food also exporting to the
world.

Cox's Bazar is the longest beach of
the world havinga length of 155 km.
