- 2. Power Line Communication is the usage of electrical power supply networks for communications purposes.
- 3. No additional wire network . Low cost. Various applications. Existing infrastructure in rural areas.
- 4. The power line networks are not designed for Data communication. PLC has some impairments: High attenuation. Significant potential interference. Noise which is generated from all loads connected to the grid.
- 5. Applying efficient modulation scheme for PLC environment , (OFDM) . Optimize the physical topological design of PLC network by efficient modes. Applying encoding technique to achieve high-data rates and reduce the noise.
- 6. OFDM is based on the concept of frequency-division multiplexing (FDM), the method of transmitting multiple data streams over a Power line medium.
