Script
- 1. "Times Up!" Script Fade in: EXT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE – DAY Jane stands hesitantly in front of the house. She holds the newspaper clipping with a black & white photo of the house. Jane then lowers the photo revealing the house behind it. Jane then realises that this house is in fact johns house she was planning on visiting. INT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE, ROOM – DAY John stands behind the window in the downstairs living room staring at Jane who is approaching the house (classical music is playing) EXT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE – DAY Jane continues to walk towards the house. INT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE, ROOM – DAY John places piece of paper in the drawer, closes it. EXT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE – DAY Jane knocks on John's door. INT. CASTLEFIELD HOUSE, ROOM – DAY John turns towards the door, his shadow is shown. EXT. CASTLEFIELD HOUSE – DAY Jane shows John her Lanyard proving she is a reporter who would like to ask him a few questions. JANE Hello, I'd like to ask you a few questions, I'm J... JOHN ...Jane JANE Yes, how did you know my name?
- 2. EXT. CASTLEFIELD HOUSE – DAY John grips Jane's wrist. Sound of door slamming. INT. CASTLEFILED HOUSE, ROOM – DAY Jane gets up and looks around feeling disorientated with a ringing sound in her ears and then inspects her surroundings. Jane sees her belongings on the floor and look up at John. John is sitting in front of her, winding up a timer in his hand. JOHN Your time starts now... Jane appears distressed Jane runs over to the closest window, pulls the curtain and tries to escape. The window is locked, she panics worried as to how she will escape. Jane quickly runs over to the door and opens it. She opens the closet hoping there was a way out which there is not. Jane opens the door and exits the room into the corridor. She runs along the corridor trying to find her nearest exit from the house. She looks around in hesitation, worried she will never escape. She looks up the stairs and hesitates to walk up them in case they leave her trapped. She begins to run up a few steps but doesn't think she'll escape this way so turns around and goes back downstairs. The timer is shown which displays that her time to escape is running out. Jane continues to panic, running around the house looking for a way out, she appears scared and frightened.
- 3. The timer is then shown again which shows the timer to have gone down considerably displaying that Jane's time is running out. John appears calm, tapping his hand waiting for the timer to end. Jane appears to be panicking more, running around the house desperately trying to find a way out. Jane appears to stop suddenly, she hesitantly investigates a chained exit which she doubts she will be able to escape from. Jane appears anxious and worried. Once again, the timer is shown and Jane has hardly no time to escape. Jane continues to panic, she is running around the house trying to find her way out. Jane enters a room and runs over to a drawer where she hopes to find a key or any other way of escaping the house. Jane opens the drawer than John had previously placed an unknown object in. Jane appears shocked and concerned. Finally the timers appears to have run out and the loud ringing plays.
