03 accessing campus wi-fi
- 1. Accessing Student WiFi and AirEDU Brown Mackie College
- 3. Tap “Wi-Fi”
- 5. This screen will slide up onto your screen. Tap in this box, and type in your Student Portal username
- 6. Tap in this box, and type in your Student Portal password. Then tap “Go”
- 7. Once this screen appears, tap “Done” All students and faculty may need to repeat these steps each day to access the WiFi on campus.
- 8. Return to your Home screen and tap “Safari”
- 9. /prod-ipad In the address bar at the top, type in: LibraryGuides.BrownMackie.edu/Prod-iPad
- 11. Tap “Download AirEdu Configuration File”
- 12. Tap “Install”
- 14. ***** Type in your Student Portal username. Then tap “Next”
- 15. Type in your Student Portal password. Then tap “Next”
- 16. Creating a Passcode On the next screen you will be prompted to create a passcode. You must remember/write down this passcode. If it is forgotten you must contact Apple for assistance You are encouraged to use a passcode of 4 numbers for ease of use.
- 17. Type in a passcode. Then tap “Next”
- 18. Type in the same passcode. Then tap “Next”
- 20. Tap “Done”
- 21. Tap “Settings”
- 22. Tap “AIREDU”
- 23. Tap “Accept”
- 24. Now you will create a link on your Home Screen to the rest of the iPad modules
- 25. Return to your Home screen and tap “Safari”
- 26. /prod-ipad In the address bar at the top, type in: LibraryGuides.BrownMackie.edu/Prod-iPad
- 28. Tap “Add to Home Screen”
- 29. Type in a title for the link, then tap “Add”
- 30. Return to your Home Screen to see the link.
- 31. You can follow those steps to create bookmarks to any Website you visit often.
