This document provides technical specifications for the Kolb Learning Style Inventory Version 3.1 (KLSI 3.1), which was revised in 2005. The KLSI 3.1 is based on Kolb's experiential learning theory and is designed to help individuals identify their learning style based on how they learn from experience. The inventory remains unchanged from prior versions but includes new norms based on a larger sample. The technical specifications adhere to standard testing guidelines and describe the conceptual foundations, inventory details, norm sample characteristics, reliability/validity studies, and research applications.
