 Example 1: The sum of two numbers is 50.

              If the difference is 12,
              find the two numbers.
      A + B = 50 …(1)        When A=31 , then:
                                       31

                             A+ B    = 50     ….(1)
      2A       = 62           + B    = 50
       A       = 62              B = 50 - 31
                    2            B = 19 #
