This document discusses using technology to complement classroom language learning. It describes using videos, DVDs, movies, computer-assisted language learning (CALL), and the internet. Some well-known videos for young learners are mentioned, like Muzzy in Gondoland. The benefits of technology for young learners are psychological, linguistic, cognitive, social, and cultural. A video-based methodology is outlined involving pre-viewing to plan and motivate, global viewing during, and post-viewing review activities.
