- 5. Local Area Network (LAN) This type of network contains the hardware devices th at are relatively near each other and are physically co nnected using cables, infrared links or wireless media. It exists within a single building or even in adjacent b uildings 2020/3/9 MBA/Kujur/FCA/CN

- 7. Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) This type of computer network contains a large scale network that connects multiple corporate LANs in a metropolitan city.
