                     LEBANON COUNTY COMMISSION FOR WOMEN
         Announces Their 2011“Hidden Heroes Writing History Hall of Fame Nominees


The public is invited to attend the 2011 Hall of Fame Luncheon and awards ceremony honoring

Lebanon County’s “Hidden Heroes Writing History” on March 9, 2011 from 11:30AM—1PM at

Marabelle’s Restaurant & Catering, 1352 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Entertainment will be

the Lebanon High School Women’s Choral Ensemble. Alicia Richards of WHTM News is

emceeing the event.


Over thirty nominations were received. Guidelines for Nomination were Women who live and /or

work in the Lebanon Valley, or played an integral part in the development and/or implementation

of project(s) that have benefited the Lebanon Valley or worked as Hidden Heroes touching lives

in a positive way.

The Inductees and Nomination Categories are

                         Women Demonstrating Leadership- Judy Feather
                 Forging new paths in business or community while serving as a role model

                            Women Creating Community- Rose Walmer
Contributing to the quality of life in the Lebanon Valley by supporting the social growth of the community

                        Women Promoting Agriculture- Lorraine Royer
                          Actively working to preserve and promote agriculture

                             Women Working for Justice- Marilyn Nolte
                                  Striving for equality and peace

                  Women Preserving the Environment- Amy Mazzella DiBosco
                                  Actively working to protect natural resources

                        Women Promoting Healthy Lifestyles- Carol Saltzer
                Educating, conducting research, promoting fitness, or providing health care

                           Women Contributing to the Arts- Carol Hollich
                Promoting the expression of the performing arts, visual arts, and literary arts

               Women Demonstrating Leadership in Education- Linda Summers
                            Promoting innovation and inspiring personal growth

                     Women Innovating in Science/Technology-Betty Conner
                               Educating, inventing, or developing technology
Women Serving the Military-Wanda Bechtold
               Advocating and promoting the role of women serving our country

                                        Trail Blazers

                              Redith Snoberger- Community

                          Albertina (Tina) Washington- Education


RSVP with payment in advance is necessary by February 26. Cost is $22.00. Seating is limited

and selling out. Checks may be made payable to: Lebanon County Commission for Women and

mailed to Kathy Kilbitsky, Treasurer C4W, Northwest Savings Bank, 547 S Tenth ST, Lebanon

PA 17042.



Anyone wishing to be a sponsor for this and other C4W events is welcome by contacting the

funds from individuals, businesses and corporate sponsors.
