- 2. What prompted you to enrol in this course?
- 3. I new just enough about new media to know that there were some amazing teaching possibilities that I wasn't taking advantage of. IMPROVING T&L and a recognition that this is a powerful tool for reaching students and engaging them in learning. I need to keep up to date with new technology as it provides a great opportunity to teach. SELF DEVELOPMENT it is also a means to improve myself as technoLogy is advancing at a rapid pace and i feel it it essential for me to keep up to date.

Learning and knowing how to use at least 10 new Technologies effectively Having a better understanding of what tools are available, having a better understanding of how to use the tools. eg I'm on twitter but would never dream of tweeting anything because I don't know how. I'm handicapped by anxiety and insecurities! To expand by understand and confident use of new technologies (at least new to me) that I can easily deploy into the classroom environment To see technology in use so I can get ideas to adapt to my own teaching, and be less afraid to try out new things. What would make this course worthwhile for you?
