- #5: The role of a Best Buddies Parent Liaison (PL) is to serve as the primary connection between a Best Buddies chapter, the Best Buddies state office, and parents of the chapter participants.
- #6: PLs will be provided with training and support from the Best Buddies staff. PLs will also be provided with the parent contact information (primarily E-mail addresses) to help parents stay informed about future Best Buddies events, share information about upcoming programs and conferences for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and serve as a general support for the chapter. This position can be as involved as the PL is able!
