The homework averager
By
jaffacakes78
Students are un organised in there free time at home because
they don’t want to do do things for them selves
Students are bad at organising homework and other school
items.
When you were at school did you do your homework last
minute?
People forget things and when to do them so are app will average out
work.
My team, jaffacakes78, is developing a revolutionary app
to help students then after that every one to organise work by
averaging it out over a period of time
Here is another elevator pitch:
http://vimeo.com/93150965
are user profile summed up is that they like the idea that it
does more than a simple reminder app and that there is no other app
like ours.
other apps already exist but known average homework or
consider time you are not free
Are app will average homework so you have as little as possible per
day it also reminds you to do homework but if you are for example at a
club it will not give you homework in that time or school hours if you
have too much work it will email your tutor
Our minamal viable product is to have a app that averages
out homework and can remind students of homework they
are required to do, also to remind students to get equipment.
Two designs for a
app page
Another page for are wire frames. This does not contain all
the possible settings only the key ones
This link will take you to a load of wire frames turned into a useless
interactive wireframe app
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/21134908/
Are app relies on data given by the user otherwise it is useless it needs
data to organise it so it can tell you when to do your homework. This
app is quite feasible to make as all it has to is work out a time then
average it out over a given time. the content of this app is some sums
that work out times and all the given data of the user.
our business model is a specialist application for students and teachers
to monitor out of class work but this app can be edited to organise
different things.
Currently the app is still under development and we have not
marketed our app.
Marketing activities:
1. YouTube videos
2. Word of mouth (gain followers by allowing free trial)
3. Target teachers and schools to adopt the app.
App Design Mock-up
We created a scratch account to share are basic wireframes. We also
have more ideas for the app like:
1. The app emailing the teacher in the case of a child having to much
work
2. Areas of time that can be made free of homework because of a
app or trip.
We have also showed work to experts and they have said that we
should focus on our minimal viable product which is a app that
averages homework.

Editor's Notes

  • #3: What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing.Example: BuzzerBuddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
  • #4: What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user researchExamples: BuzzerBuddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
  • #5: What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: BuzzerBuddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
  • #7: To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here.Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
  • #9: Summarise what other solutions or alternatives you have found that already exist in the market and explain why they don’t fully solve the problem you are looking at or why your proposed solution is better.
  • #11: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of flow and if/ how you have already integrated any user feedback.
  • #12: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #13: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #14: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
  • #15: Summarise what you have learnt about data, content and technical feasibility. This is crucial, if your product relies heavily on any of these areas. If your product does not rely on them heavily, please explain why. This will show that your team has really understood feasibility well.
