Pre-visit Preparation
• Define LOOP boundary
– Physical location of the boundary
– Floor area of this boundary
– No. of staff in this boundary
– Are all the staff in this boundary and office-based?
• Data integrity
– Period (1 July 2013 – 30 June 2014)
Equivalent to consumption period (1 June 2013 – 31 May 2014)
– Min. 9 months of data is required for verification
– Ensure data in all worksheets are within the same period
– Identify abnormal record by reviewing online reports
• Prepare necessary supporting documents
– e.g. electricity bills, travel records, IT equipment records, etc
– Previous LOOP verification report(s) for verifier’s reference
– https://loop.wwf.org.hk/
7
On-site verification
• Verification is performed
according to the itinerary
• Data accuracy in GHG-Easy
• Observation (Office tour)
• Staff Interview
8

• Follow up with the verifier if you have any questions about report
9
Date back function is available upon request.
Submit a modification form for our record
Please be reminded that there is a one month
lag between the GHG-easy calendar and in the
data sheets.
(Think about your electricity bill in June, which
records the consumption in May)
Min. 9 months of data is required for verification.
The data period is from 2013-07 to 2014-06
(which is referring to the emissions produced
from June 2013 to May 2014).
