SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

TRAINING WORKSHOP FEE

This activity aimed to: (1) provide a nationwide
public consultation for the full adaptation and
implementation of the National Policy on
Resource Description and Access for Filipiniana
Materials/Resources among different types of
libraries, museums and archives; (2) develop an
action plan for RDA implementation in the
country; and (3) conduct a hands-on
training/workshop on the application of the
proposed policies and standard.

Live-out participants PhP 2,700.00
(inclusive of meals, snacks, seminar kits, and
certificates)

TARGET PARTICIPANTS
Librarians, catalogers, library administrators,
and faculty of LIS from the National Capital
Region, nearby cities and provinces who have
knowledge about RDA are invited to participate in
the training. Live-out participants will pay a
training fee of PhP 2,700.00 inclusive of meals,
snacks, seminar kits, and certificates.
EXPECTED OUTCOME
 National Action Plan on RDA Implementation
in the Philippines; and
 Awareness on the proposed National Policy
on Resource Description and Access for
Filipiniana Materials/Resources among
librarians and information professionals.
