- 5. The Super Y League ID Player Tracking Program ensures that the top players in the league are identified, recognized, and publicized for the benefit of the player and club. Players are identified based on their performance on the field of play by Super Y League coaches, scouts, and club directors. Players who are identified have the unique opportunity to participate in the Super Y League Regional Scouting Series, a pathway to the Super Y League National Player Pool and Super Y League’s premier event, the USL Experience. - 6. The Super Y League Regional Scouting Series provides elite standouts a platform to showcase their individual abilities for college coaches. These events aim to enhance development off the field, with unique and holistic programming delivered by league partners, exclusively for Super Y League players and parents. • All players in the league are scouted through our ID Player Tracking Program • Top 10% in each region are invited to attend the Regional Scouting Series • College coaches present evaluating and identifying talent for their programs during these events • Multiple regional events closer to home allow top talent to be scouted for Super Y League National Pool and USL Experience INCREASED PLAYER EXPOSURE ASCEND WITH US SUPER Y LEAGUE 5
- 7. NATIONAL PLAYER POOL USL EXPERIENCE After over a decade of USSF-sanctioned ODP programming, in 2015, the Super Y League evolved its elite player programming. This adaptation provides holistic education for players and parents, as well as a clear and defined pathway to the next level. The National Player Pool is comprised of the league’s elite players. Individuals in the National Player pool are monitored throughout their fall and spring club seasons via a national scouting network and regional staff. Super Y League National Pool players have the exclusive opportunity to be invited to participate in unique and innovative events, such as the USL Experience. The USL Experience is the first of its kind and will ignite a new interest level in American soccer. It connects the American youth player to the American professional game by revealing what is required to be a professional, all while showing that America is home to the destination leagues of the future. The USL Experience will provide an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of a professional soccer player and expose the top 1% of players in the Super Y League to one of the premier professional soccer organizations in North America. - 9. NEW US SOCCER STANDARDS The Super Y League will implement the new mandates from the Federation for the 2016 season. Incorporating these new directives from U.S. Soccer for the 2016 Super Y League season will allow clubs a platform to reshuffle their age groups and allow players time to adjust to new teammates, team systems and field dimensions before the traditional fall and spring seasons. Committing to these changes for the upcoming Super Y League season will provide member clubs the opportunity to test and explore the new initiatives in a competitive setting before it becomes the standard in 2017. COMPETITION STRUCTURE TheSuperYLeagueprovidesclubswiththeelitecompetitiontheyneed.Ourprofessional staff will assist with the scheduling of matches and will work to uphold the minimum standards, allowing clubs to focus more on the development of players and less on league administration. The framework allows your club to get 8-12 quality matches that can be scheduled around your player’s availability.
