McKenna Reach Protection and
Restoration

• Acquisition of 65 acres along mainstem, including .7 miles of
shoreline
• Stewardship activities are planned throughout, including invasive
vegetation control and plantings
• Site specific information unavailable at this time
• Amount Requested: $237,362
• Acquisition of 6.4 undeveloped acres along the northern
shoreline of the Nisqually mainstem
• This project would protect 4 of 15 parcels that are at risk
for future development near the town of McKenna

look at conceptual designs for
