There is a need to develop integrated national data systems at regional, national, and international levels to prevent misuse of data and promote sustainable development. Examples of successful integrated national data systems include South Africa's government program monitoring, Nepal's data literacy program, and Estonia's system for managing personal citizen data. An integrated national data system for agriculture could enhance productivity, reduce waste, and save natural resources by identifying optimal land usage, mapping growing conditions, predicting sowing/harvest times, and coordinating logistics and storage based on real-time data analysis.
